The Role:
Enerven are looking for Metering Technicians with multiple positions (12-month full time contracts) available in metropolitan Adelaide and Regional SA locations including Pt Pirie, Pt Augusta, Whyalla, Riverland and Yorke Peninsula.
The metering technician will report to the Operations Supervisor and will perform a wide range of metering tasks, including:
- The installation, maintenance, and testing of whole current metering equipment
- The installation, maintenance, and testing of CT metering equipment
- Investigate and rectify metering equipment communications faults
- Performing meter accuracy testing and inspections
- Ensure that all tasks undertaken are performed in a manner consistent with our WH&S policies and procedures and relevant state and national legislation
- Maintain accurate and timely meter installation and time records
What you will need:
- SA Electrical Workers Registration
- Current SA drivers’ licence
- The ability to learn new skills and adapt to changes in standards, systems, and technologies
- A can-do attitude with a strong emphasis on Health and Safety
- Experience with the installation of metering equipment would be an advantage but not essential
Whilst the Metering depot is located at Marleston, you will not be required to start/finish from this location, a lot of the time you will start/finish from your home base. The successful candidate may be required to work overtime, be flexible with working hours, travel to regional areas and work away as needed.
