We are looking for someone to join our team as a Meter Technician in the Wodonga area to perform a variety of meter reading, disconnection/reconnection, as well as meter fault investigation and rectification services.
Training will be provided for the right individuals as well as access to a large support team who take great pride in delivering safe, quality work and great customer service

Key responsibilities and challenges of the role include but are not limited to
- Driving the company vehicle in order to complete most duties.
- Performing scheduled meter reading work across specific work area(s).
- Disconnection and re-connection of customer supply.
- Meter communications fault investigation and rectifications
- Contributing to the public perception of the company and network by dealing with the public in a courteous manner with high standards of personal presentation
- Performing all works safely using correct occupational health and safety procedures
Applicants must
- Be available Monday to Friday between the hours of 10am and 6pm including some overtime and call outs
- Possess a current & valid Victorian driver's licence - auto and manual
- Agree to undergo a medical and Drug & Alcohol test
- Have experience working unsupervised
- Possess sound communication skills
- Have customer service experience including conflict resolution skills
- Ability to understand and follow work procedures and safe approach to work
- Highly motivated, flexible and organised
The following qualifications are required for the role.
Where the applicant doesn't already hold the qualification, training will be provided:
- OHS Construction Industry White card
- First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate
