Partnership – Leveraging our collective expertise to connect people to products and services.Conduct both simple and complex routine laboratory testing of raw materials, in process products, finished dose products, stability samples, environmental samples, water samples and calibration of equipment while maintaining a high standard of Good Laboratory Practice. Exercise scientific judgment and rationale to conduct investigations using techniques and methods which adhere to the standard operating procedures.We are currently offering a $2,000 stay bonus to successfully placed candidates.Key Duties and Responsibilities:Analysis of raw materials and products to ensure compliance with microbiological specificationsTest factory hygiene, including air, water, fixtures and equipmentAnalyse purified water and feed water samples to ensure compliance with microbiological and chemical specificationsPerform calibration and maintenance of equipment as requiredConduct investigations and microbiological risk assessments using sound scientific principlesPreparation of microbiological mediaValidation of test methodsSupport and encourage continuous improvement initiatives for the benefit of the Quality department and the wider businessEnsure activities comply with GMP, legal and ethical standardsJob Requirements:Tertiary qualifications in Biological Science, preferably microbiologyPrevious experience in pharmaceutical GMP environment desirable but not essentialProven ability to work under minimal supervisionAbility to build rapport, establish and maintain relationships with peers and business contactsHigh level of written and verbal communication with experience writing reportsAbility to effectively manage time and meet deadlines and targets with competing and conflicting prioritiesAbility to follow prescribed and detailed proceduresEmployee Benefits
