SalaryOur client, a beverage manufacturer located on the Gold Coast, is currently seeking an experienced Microbiologist for a full-time casual assignment until July 2024, with the possibility of extension. This role is Monday – Friday with occasional weekend work, starting immediately.
We are ideally seeking someone with some experience in microbiology laboratories, but encourage recent graduates to also apply.
Selection Criteria:
To be considered for this position you MUST have:
- Bachelor of Science (Microbiology major preferred);
- Experience working in microbiology laboratories is desired;
- Experience in the food, beverage or brewing industry would be highly regarded;
- Excellent communication to liaise with internal stakeholders in manufacturing and quality assurance;
- Ability to accurately monitor and report on results of laboratory tests;
- A keen work ethic and the ability to pick up new skills quickly;
- A current drivers’ license and a car as public transport is limited.
