Mid-Level Architect
Technē Architecture + Interior Design is a dynamic and experienced practice. With studios in Carlton VIC and Albury NSW, we have an impressive portfolio across a broad selection of project types including: hospitality, single and multi-residential, commercial, and retail.
We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled mid-level registered architect to join our Melbourne Studio.
The ideal candidate will be working across project teams to assist or to manage multiple projects from concept through to project completion.
About the role
We are seeking a registered mid-level architect with:
- A passion for design, self-motivated and is a good problem solver
- Detailing and documentation knowledge
- Strong written, verbal and graphic presentation skills
- High-level communication skills to confidently and effectively communicate with clients, consultants and stakeholders
- The ability to work collaboratively within a fast-pace studio environment
- Required in the delivery of a range of project typologies including hospitality, residential and commercial projects, and can contribute positively to Techne’s studio culture.
Skills and Qualification requirements include:
- A Tertiary qualification and current practicing registration as Architect in Australia
- Advanced Revit experience is essential
- Demonstrated experience in all project stages from inception to completion
- Strong design and a keen eye for detail
- Great communication and presentation ability
- Excellent time management skills and can work in a dynamic environment with the ability to multi-task
- Ability to engage and build strong and long-lasting relationships with project stakeholders
- Advanced knowledge of Australian Standards, NCC and local Authority requirements
- Program competency in Revit, Sketch Up, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, MS Office. Experience with Twin Motion would be favourable.
