Warracknabeal campus is located in the heart of Warracknabeal at 18 Dimboola Road Warracknabeal, halfway between Adelaide and Melbourne.
Latitude Recruitment is seeking applications for the mid-year Graduate Registered Nurse Program on behalf of Rural Northwest Health, starting early July.
This is a 12 month program that provides mentorship and guidance to Graduate Registered Nurses during their first year of clinical practice.
These positions are part time or full time, focusing on Aged Care at the Warracknabeal campus.
Learning opportunities:
- Graduates will have regular contact with dedicated Clinical Support Nurses
- A structured orientation and supernumerary days are provided
- Valuable study days offered throughout the year
- One on one mentoring sessions and regular group debrief sessions
- Exposure to acute and aged care, ageing in place, palliative care, memory support, wound management, management of chronic illnesses, wellness programs and community nursing.
Key Selection Criteria:
- Registered Nurses with less than 12 months since completion of degree
- Demonstrated ability to deliver safe, high quality care relevant to experience
- Good written communication skills and the ability to utilise a range of software applications
- Emerging time management skills and ability to prioritise in a flexible and adaptable way
- Commitment and willingness to participate in continuing training and education
- Ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team
