Hilton Manufacturing commenced business in 1976 and now operates from two modern factories, located in Dandenong, in the South-East area of Melbourne and one factory located in Queensland. Hilton Manufacturing is a family-owned business and is recognized as the foremost component manufacturer to the Trucking Industry, Defence Force, and Caravan industries providing services to all Australian Truck O.E.M.s and is the preferred supplier to Iveco, Mercedes, Kenworth, Volvo, MACK and Western Star. The company is also a preferred supplier to Defence and Caravan industries supplying all metal components including chassis, door frames and bumper bars. Hilton Manufacturing also supplies all of the Australian truck companies with aftermarket products.

Purpose
Day shift position or Afternoon Shift (attracting additional 20% loading)
We currently have on-going casual positions with a view to go fulltime available for suitably qualified Welders to join our team!
As our Welder, you will be responsible for cutting and joining metals and other materials at our facilities or construction sites. You will be working with the latest technology and equipment to put together mechanical structures or parts with a great deal of precision.

Key Accountabilities
To be considered for this role you will need to meet the following criteria:
- Must have experience in MIG or TIG or Heavy Welding
- Possess a passion for a high standard of work and quality.
- Commitment to safe working practices and environment
- Be physically fit and capable of manual handling.
- Be able to work individually and as part of a team.
- Be committed and enthusiastic.
- Available to start ASAP.
Qualifications and Experience
- Metal fabrication, boilermaker, or vehicle body building experience
- MIG welding experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and job specifications.
- Current drivers' license and reliable transport
- Ability to identify and resolve mechanical problems.
- Understanding of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 quality systems
