Reporting into the Northern Visual Merchandising Manager, this role will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high standards of Visual Merchandising, styling and window display across our network of NSW boutiques, concessions and edit stores. The Visual Merchandising Lead will also provide training and support our NSW Field Visual Merchandisers and Retail teams to achieve excellence in Visual Merchandising.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive an exceptional customer experience wherever the customer chooses to shop, through inspirational visual experiences
- Plan all floor moves in conjunction with the relevant manager to maximise sale opportunities as well as maintaining brand standards
- Strategically partner with Retail leaders to drive best in class Visual Merchandising direction and consistency in execution
- Build relationships with key personnel in Myer and David Jones and provide training on Visual Merchandising and Mimco standards where appropriate
- Ensure that the commercial and visual needs of the business are balanced when implementing merchandising or displays
- Ensure merchandising decisions are related to business results at all times, with a focus on merchandising for profit
- Actively participate in new store set-ups and refurbishments (where required) and collaborate with key stakeholders.
The Ideal Candidate will have
- Minimum 3 years’ experience within a comparable Visual Merchandising role
- Experience in the Retail industry, with a creative merchandising ability and a passion for all things accessories
- Positive attitude and be a proactive team player
- Strong attention to detail, communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to build strong relationships with all stakeholders
- Ability to analyse the business and take appropriate action
- Driver’s licence and car to travel between a network of stores.
