The successful person will become a member of a hardworking and committed team who are responsible for supporting the Team Lead – Mine Operations in delivering targets and KPIs for Mine Operations.You will be responsible for:

• Ensuring compliance of safe work practices, policies and procedures across your dedicated crew;
• Conducting workplace inspections of all relevant work areas
• Effective implementation and utilisation of the mining fleet to deliver on the mining plan;
• Supporting the mining team to achieve production requirements
• Liaising with other departments to meet overall business objectives
• Harness our productive and friendly team culture through the development of our operators

About You
This role would suit a motivated and experience team coordinator looking to take the next step in their career. You will also have:

• Previous experience in a similar role and environment (Open Cut Mining)
• A current & valid ‘HR’ class drivers licence (Essential)
• Proven ability to organise, implement and monitor multiple tasks
• Experience organising, leading and managing personnel in a team environment
• Skills to read and interpret plans
• A clear communication style to allow you to train and pass on knowledge to your team
