You'll work closely with our Digital & Technology teams to enhance existing tools and drive the implementation of cutting-edge solutions crafted by our Data Science team. This role requires agile project management expertise to navigate complex deployments, ensuring seamless integration and maximising operational benefits.In this dynamic role, you will:

• Systems Development: Craft and maintain comprehensive documentation, including requirements, process documents, and functional specifications.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Lead stakeholder sessions to assess the success of new deployments and existing system enhancements.
• Systems Support: Troubleshoot and resolve system issues promptly, collaborating with key users and leveraging Thiess Service Desk systems.
• Training: Develop and deliver training materials to support the adoption of Performance and Decision Support systems.
• Analysis & Improvement: Continuously evaluate system Performance and identify opportunities for optimisation.
• Project Deployments: Participate in agile project management initiatives, incorporating best practices to ensure successful deployments and change management.

About YouThe ideal candidate for this position possesses tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or a related field, along with a preference for Train the Trainer competency. Their formal education background suggests a solid foundation in IT principles and practices, essential for the demands of the role. Moreover, they should have demonstrated experience in corporate-wide systems development and user support, preferably within the mining or equipment maintenance industries. Such experience indicates a familiarity with the specific challenges and intricacies of these sectors, enabling them to navigate complex technical environments effectively.In terms of technical skills, the candidate should exhibit proficiency in database management, SQL queries, and SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services). Additionally, they should possess strong analytical capabilities and advanced Power BI reporting skills, essential for extracting meaningful insights from data sets. These technical proficiencies ensure the candidate can effectively manage data-driven tasks and contribute to informed decision-making processes within the organisation.
