An exciting opportunity has become available for an entry level Mine Planning Cadet to join our experienced and supportive team on a 3-year max term contract. As a valued member of the team working alongside qualified Mining Engineers and reporting directly to the Senior mining engineer, you'll work in diverse teams who will support, encourage, and help you build your technical skills. This busy and diverse role will see you supporting the Tech Services team in delivering plans, designs and schedules to ensure that the operation's longer-term mining plans can be achieved. You will gain exposure in Drill & Blast, Short-Term and Medium-Term Planning. While gaining on the job experience you'll be supported in completing a recognised and relevant course with an Australian tertiary institution.
To be successful in this role, you are a highly organised professional who is approachable, innovative, and driven to succeed within a dynamic environment. Experience in a similar Mine Planning role or on a mine site is desirable but not required. We're looking for someone who is passionate about their career in Mine Planning with an entrepreneurial mindset.

You will have the option to either live locally in one of the communities that surround our operation or stay on site in our amazing village.
