Mineco has operations throughout NSW, QLD & SA that provide Mining andCivil Services in a wide range of fields incl. equipment operations, road base rock crushing, specialist operator and mining strategy training, engineering/technical services, and equipment maintenance. Mineco has positions available for an experienced Site Supervisor to showcase their skills and add value to its Mining andCivil Services operations. This is an opportunity to work as part of a team to deliver a quality service to our valued clients throughout the Hunter Valley region.
About You
The Mining and CHPP Civil Services Supervisor will Coordinate personnel, equipment, and resources to ensure that CHPP Civil activities are undertaken in a safe, cost effective and efficient manner in line with agreed operational standards and targets.
Reporting to the Site Manager, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating the production teams to safely deliver the Civil Services plan by optimising activities and continually improving the performance of the team.
The core function of the Civil Services Supervisor will be to manage the performance of all CHPP Services activities, deliver against agreed targets and schedules, while ensuring that tasks are completed in a safe and efficient manner and aligned with relevant mining legislation and site procedures.
• Supervise the team to meet daily targets.
• Participate in daily, weekly and monthly planning and coordination.
• Coordinate and implement risk assessments
• Maintain and monitor safety performance.
• Ensure efficient operational practices.
• Monitor team and equipment performance.
• Identify and suggest improvements for CHPP Services and projects team.
• Responsible for plant breakdown management decisions and ensuring completion of assigned routine maintenance tasks.
You will have the following
• Minimum 2- years’ experience in a similar role
• Relevant Supervisor Certificates - S123 & G2 or willing to obtain
• Ability to make business critical decisions and problem solve
• Ability to work to plan to achieve business goals
• Ability to lead and enhance culture.
• Proficient in Microsoft office suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point
