Mining Engineer

CRE Group are currently seeking an experienced Mining Engineer with Deswik experience working with our client on a Mineral sand mine. 

Overview:
Our client operates a modern mineral sands operation within regional WA. We are looking for a Mining Engineer with a strong track record in delivering robust plans and designs with a safety-first mentality with a Indepth knowledge using Deswik.
 
The role
The ideal candidate will have various responsibilities, including delivering plans, designs and schedules, ensuring that the operation’s short term vision is realised. As part of the team, you will have the opportunity to plan for the pit, including scheduling, developing dig, dump, infrastructure and reshape designs whilst working closely with operations ensuring safe execution. 
  
The candidate

• The successful candidate will hold a tertiary qualification in Engineering (Mining/Civil or related field)
• Valid Australian visa with full working rights
• Skilled in using Mine Design and Scheduling packages (Deswik)
• 3-5 years minimum relevant experience
