AddressWe are seeking experienced Mining Operators to join us at Pembroke Resource’s autonomous project in the Bowen Basin - the Olive Downs Complex.
The Olive Downs Complex is a greenfield project located 40 kilometres southeast of Moranbah. Pembroke Resources has awarded Thiess a five-year contract to deliver comprehensive mining operations, including mine planning, overburden removal, drill and blast, load and haul (Autonomous), water management, rehabilitation, and the construction of mine infrastructure.
Working on a 7 days on, 7 days off day/night roster and reporting to the Mining Supervisor, your duties will include:
- Operating machinery efficiently, safely, and competently to ensure maximum output.
- Complying with Thiess’ policies and procedures.
- Operating, driving, and moving material as directed to prepare operating areas and roads.
- Proven experience operating in a mining environment with Dump Trucks, Dozers, Graders, Water Trucks, or Excavators.
- SSE signed skills list.
- Current Driver’s License.
- Current Standard 11.
- Experience with CAT MineStar technologies, including Command for Haulage, Fleet, and/or Terrain - advantageous.
