Task & Responsibilities

• Operate as a Geotechnical / Mining Engineer at our clients mine site.
• Provide geotechnical advice to mining operations, to ensure geotechnical risks are effectively identified, managed, and controlled in accordance with relevant legislation and site safety and health management systems. 
• Provide geotechnical input into both short & long-term production planning and scheduling processes.
• Data analysis, geotechnical design, and continuous improvement activities.
• Complete underground assurance inspections and reporting.

Qualification & Experience

• Be located in Australia 
• Have a degree or postgraduate degree (Honours or Masters) in Geotechnical Engineering, Mining Engineering or Civil Engineering.  
• Minimum 6 months experience in underground coal and 2 years work experience with references.
• Be teachable and above all be willing to learn and work hard. 
• Be available/willing to work in remote areas of Central Queensland.
