Join a small team on a cropping and sheep enterprise in the sought-after Riverina with close access to schools and amenities.
The RoleConveniently located in the sought-after Riverina district of NSW, a productive family enterprise operating on 6,000 acres grazes approximately 1,500 Merino ewes along with Barley, Wheat, Canola and Hay crops. Working alongside the owner is the opportunity for a Farm Hand to join the team and be involved in all aspects of the enterprise.
The sheep element has a dual purpose of wool and prime lamb production, which are moved with the assistance of working dogs, bikes, and utes. Utilising your previous sheep experience, you will be knowledgeable about most associated tasks, including drenching, vaccinating, etc.
Typical of most farm roles, you will also be involved in the general maintenance and upkeep of the farm, including fencing and general machinery servicing. The modern fleet is predominantly Case IH and is maintained where possible onsite, making mechanical knowledge a valuable asset. On the cropping side of the operation, you will be involved in all aspects of the cropping cycle, including the use of an air seeder and tow-behind spray rigs.

The Ideal Candidate
Ideally, you will have recent experience on Mixed Enterprises and enjoy variety in your work day along with the following attributes:
- Machinery operation experience
- Autosteer GPS knowledge and ability
- Experience with tow-behind spray rigs
- Chemical licence
- Mechanical aptitude and fabrication skills
- Animal husbandry skills
- HC licence (preferred)
- Willingness to learn
