Job Description

The Mobile ADFCC Coordinator is responsible for the design, coordination, promotion and delivery of MACC tours through regional and rural locations, driving the sourcing and attraction of candidates, and providing support to local recruitment activities. 

This role also acts as a liaison between various internal and external stakeholders to support the localised promotion of MACC activities. The role works with ADF Military personnel to shape and deliver activations for the MACC and is required to participate in tours to review performance, identify opportunities and maintain operational standards.

You will:

  • Create and manage master Mobile ADFCC travel and event calendar, incorporating all team transport, accommodation, and technology requirements. Ensure sourcing, attraction, recruitment and assessment opportunities can be leveraged. 
  • Support the National Mobile & Pop UP ADFCC Lead to identify regional and rural locations to attend, supported by historical and demographic data and aligning with local events and recruitment timelines.
  • Plan mobile ADFCC tours from start to finish, tailoring the approach to target audiences and recruitment objectives aligned with the MACC Business Plan and MACC Strategic Plan
  • Participate in MACC tours, including up to 15 days travel per calendar month including weekends. With TOIL in the immediate fortnight following a tour.
  • Lead and support a team of Bus Drivers and the ADF Careers EOI support team members, to ensure delivery excellence and exceptional performance.
  • Ensure all MACC activities are compliant with relevant WHS, public liability, insurance, and reporting requirements, maintaining contact with Adecco ADFCC Facilities to ensure compliance.
  • Liaise with the relevant stakeholders (ADF Media / Marketing / Events Leads), sharing the MACC Tour schedule in an accurate and timely manner, ensuring the appropriate media (eDM’s, local newspapers, community radio) have been contacted to leverage maximum potential media exposure. 
  • Take ownership of and manage the entire MACC budget, ensuring return on investment is evident and personnel, travel, accommodation, and events costs remain in budget.
  • Ensure framework and delivery model supports the ADF Careers goal of achieving 100-day recruitment target.
  • Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with ADF personnel and subcontractors across locations, leveraging relationships for opportunities to enhance MACC experience for the community.
  • Be the conduit between the ADF and Adecco personnel team members on MACC Tours to deliver events that are reflective of our ‘one team’ ADF Careers philosophy. This includes bump in/out, event execution and community engagement activities.
  • Apply strong problem solving, adaptability and project management skills to deliver results in a high tempo environment.
  • Provide a report at the conclusion of each tour on outcomes across operations, logistics, collaboration and metrics as defined in the MACC Strategic plan.
  • Review and analyse performance on a quarterly basis, providing reports, reviews and insights as required/requested.
  • Implement and drive a proactive approach to coordination of the MACC, seeking, reviewing, and considering feedback from wider ADFCC, CoA and Subcontractors on areas of opportunity.
  • Work in a fast passed environment, maintaining the relevant databases, updating and sending eDM’s to community leaders, career counsellors and education networks.
  • Develop, manage, and maintain a high service level client relationship through the provision of services that meet or exceed the expectations of Defence and the Adecco ADFCC contract, further encouraging a strong and ongoing relationship between Adecco and the Commonwealth of Australia.
Candidates Profile

To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience working with diversity partners and communities.  You will have a natural curiosity and ability to build trusted, collaborative partnerships and working relationships. You will enjoy travel and be passionate, energised, and motivated to engage with people to promote careers within the ADF.
 
Your background will demonstrate:

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to design and execute MACC tours seamlessly.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to act as a liaison between various external and external stakeholders including ADF Military personnel.
  • Event coordination and management- desirable but not essential; particularly in regional and rural settings
  • Knowledge of military operations and understanding of ADF recruitment processes
  • Strategic thinking, ability to identify improvement opportunities and innovation in tour activations.
  • Willingness to participate in tours for performance review, opportunity identification, and maintenance of operational standards.
  • Adaptability to work in dynamic and challenging environments, especially in regional and rural locations.
  • Possesses strong administrative skills 
  • Creative mindset to contribute to the design and promotion of MACC activities.
