About the position:
As a Mobile Maintenance Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and optimal performance of our mobile equipment fleet. You will be responsible for supervising a team of skilled trades and coordinating maintenance activities to maximise equipment uptime and efficiency. This role reports to the Maintenance Manager.
The core responsibilities of this position include:
- Managing scheduled daily maintenance and shutdown maintenance by reviewing and assigning work to trades.
- Responding to unplanned breakdowns and troubleshooting
- Building team capability through mentoring and coaching staff
- Working across teams to meet productivity outcomes
- Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
- Managing work activities through Pronto
- Coordinating critical spare availability with planners and warehousing
This is a permanent, full time, FIFO role from Townsville (negotiable) with a 7/7 roster. Local candidates from Cloncurry or surrounding communities can commute via bus from Cloncurry and are encouraged to apply.
About You:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a mining Mobile Maintenance Supervisor
- Trade qualifications in a diesel fitting or auto electrician disciplines
- High level of computer literacy of MS Office Suite and Pronto (desirable)
- Strong communication, problem solving and planning skills
- Demonstrated time management and organisational skills
- Manual QLD driver’s license
- Hold a high regard for safety by following safe working practices
- Physically fit and able to pass medical assessment and police clearance
