About the Role
WorkPac are currently seeking an experienced Mobilisation Officer to join our client Rio Tinto in their Sustaining Capital team. This role will be Hybrid located in their Central Park office and Working from Home, working an 8 days on, 6 days off roster for a 12 month duration, with the possibility of extension.
Duties and Responsibilities
Supporting the project delivery teams to ensure seamless contractor mobilisation to site
Responsible for ensuring timely processing of travel requests and checking personnel qualifications
Provide clear and concise information to all stakeholders
Ensure compliance to divisional and RTIO processes and frameworks
Perform other site administrative tasks as required
Active participant in critical response events
Effective communication & engagement with other functions of the Mobilisation Team to ensure seamless mobilisation and process improvements.
Escalate to Mobilisation Supervisor any non-conformance to process and timelines
Skills and Experience
Ability to effectively communicate with multiple stakeholders
Adapt to different situations and methodically problem solve
Proficient in MS Excel and Outlook
Minimum 3 years experience in Mobilisation role or similar
