Our Client provides heavy machinery hires, heavy lifting and logistics services into multiple sectors.
Job Description
Responsibilities for this role include but are not limited too:
Recruitment Management:
  • Coordinate end-to-end recruitment activities for full-time and casual employees.
  • Prepare and place job advertisements.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with Branch Management to understand staffing needs and conditions.
  • Support operational teams in shutdown planning and coordination.
Documentation and Compliance:
  • Maintain and manage personnel HR files throughout recruitment and onboarding.
  • Ensure compliance with privacy act and internal policies.
Communication and Coordination:
  • Provide guidance and information to recruitment personnel.
  • Communicate shutdown requirements to internal and external labor pools.
  • Update and maintain process and compliance documentation.
Information Management:
  • Capture all required personnel information in company HR & Recruitment systems.
  • Distribute HR information to internal stakeholders.
Onboarding Facilitation:
  • Facilitate onboarding process for new personnel with clear communication.
  • Direct new personnel effectively with clear instructions and timeframes.
Shutdown Record Keeping:
  • Maintain updated shutdown records in internal systems.
  • Provide timely feedback on labor availability to Branches.
Client Portal and System Management:
  • Treat external client portals and systems with the same standards as internal systems.
Offer and Paperwork Handling:
  • Draft Letters of Offer for successful candidates.
  • Handle offer paperwork in accordance with company practice.
Qualification Verification and Reference Checks:
  • Verify licenses and qualifications.
  • Conduct reference checks.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will possess:
  • A minimum of 2 years in a recruitment or HR position
  • Experience in both recruitment and mobilisation activities
  • Strong understanding of recruitment frameworks
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to liaise and build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Proactive nature with great communication skills
What's on Offer
  • Eagle farm location with on-site parking
  • Office to move shortly to new location in Hendra
  • 6 Month initial contract with intent to go permanent
  • Monday to Friday, 7:30-4pm (This role is based fully on-site)
