Motobility is an Australian business that provides mobility equipment sales, servicing and repairs across the Perth Metropolitan area. We now have the opportunity for a technician to join our dynamic team located at our Motobility Retail Store in Mandurah
No experience is required, but motivation and the willingness to work are essential! We are happy to teach you everything you need to know if you are willing to learn!
Your Day to Day
You will be assisting our customers by servicing and repairing their Mobility Aids, both in the workshop as well as at the client's homes. You will also be asked to deliver Mobility Aids to customers' homes and set these up. Some items, such as our adjustable beds, are heavy. Hence we require you to be physically fit & strong. Additionally, you will be asked to assist with general warehousing duties in and around the workshop, such as unpacking boxes and receiving and checking deliveries.
Required Attributes, Skills & Qualifications
- Must have a general mechanical aptitude and/or electronics knowledge. Technical training will be provided on the job.

- Excellent customer service focus with a friendly, likeable manner
- Integrity & Compassion
- Proficient computing skills and a quick learner
- A positive "can-do" attitude
- Willingness to undergo NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) New Workers Check
- Willingness to receive annual flu vaccination and other vaccinations as required by the NDIS
- Willingness to do occasional overnight travel (all expenses incl)
Desired Attributes, Skills & Qualifications
- Electrical and/or mechanical skills
- Experience as a removalist or furniture delivery driver
- Experience working in the Mobility Industry
- Experience working with the elderly and with people who have special needs
- Forklift driver's licence - You can get it in the first 4 weeks.
