About the roleIn this role you will be an Infrastructure Engineer, specialising in Mobility with strengths in Android and AirWatch. You will be responsible for the design and implementation of mobile solutions using ruggedised mobile hardware for our national FMCG client. You will contribute to the enhancement of nation-wide infrastructure to improve the reliability, security and rate of change across multiple locations.
- This is a 6 month contract role, very likely to extend
- Based in Sydney with a hybrid working model.
- Daily rate is up to $1000pd inclusive of super

About you
- 2+ years’ experience with engineering, development or design.
- Good knowledge of Android and Airwatch
- Good understanding of wireless networking (Cisco preferred)
- Background working in mobile infrastructure & service design and working with vendors to deliver scalable solutions.
- DevOps mindset & passion for automation
- Prior experience designing & implementing CI/CD pipelines
- Good working knowledge with cloud; Azure and/or GCP
- High aptitude to develop skillset and a mindset to focus on how to constantly improve
- Strong communication & time management skills
Responsibilities
- Design and implement mobile solutions using ruggedised mobile hardware
- Adapt your mobility and infrastructure skills to improve the agility of the environment and transform the services provided
- Contribute to greenfield projects as well as maintenance of existing systems
- Work within a DevOps delivery model
- Work with vendors and 3rd parties to deliver desired outcomes at scale
