The RoleWe are looking for an experienced, Australia based engineer to provide technical implementation services to key prospects and customers specifically around Microsoft Azure, Intune, Digital Identity, Microsoft 365 and the Microsoft Enterprise Mobility + Security suite of products.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is flexible and agile in their approach, take pride in delivering excellent results and be able to manage relationships with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders for the successful delivery of professional services projects.
You will:
- Build and implement Microsoft solutions for our customers
- Participate in technical discovery for design and build projects
- Provide on-going improvements to systems and processes
- Share learnings with the Mobile Mentor Engineering team through coaching, training and internal knowledge sharing
- Identify opportunities for follow-up work where possible
- Provide high quality documentation
- Follow runbooks and leverage templates to support implementation
- Assist with troubleshooting technical issues for Professional Services customers
- Research and deliver best practices on relevant Microsoft solutions
- Contribute and provide thought leadership through blogs and knowledge articles
- Support with the handover of projects into BAU where necessary to ensure customer success
- Create automation and orchestration to super-charge the work we do
- Be willing to be on-call periodically (with appropriate allowances etc.)
Experience with the following IT systems is desired:
- Knowledge in the Microsoft 365 ecosystem including: Intune, Azure AD/Entra, MFA, PowerShell, Graph API, Application Protection Policies, Conditional Access
- Experience with Windows 10 & 11, iOS, iPadOS, macOS and Android devices
- Experience with Digital Identity, Identity Management and Entra
- PowerShell scripting and reporting
- Experience with Zero-touch provisioning
- Strong experience working with Microsoft 365 including Teams
- Past experience working with security tools and services, such as A/V, Microsoft Defender, EDR, Knowbe4, etc.
- Experience with process management and familiar with ITIL
- Experience working on waterfall projects and Agile product teams
- Relevant certifications such as MD-102, MS-102, AZ-140, SC-200+300 etc.
Candidates should have:
- At least 3 years supporting Windows 10 & 11, iOS, iPadOS, macOS and Android endpoints
- At least 3 years build/design experience with Intune and Azure
- Ability to work autonomously
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to product changes
- Proven track record of delivering high quality service
- Excellent stakeholder management, presentation, verbal, and written communication skills
- Excellent documentation and timekeeping skills
- A degree in Computer Science, MIS or equivalent relevant qualifications is required.
Candidates will need to be able to pass background checks and obtain security clearance to work with AU Government Agencies (must be an AU Citizen or lived in Australia continuously for more than 5 years).
