About the role

Key responsibilities include:
- Assist with managing the value creation pipeline; ideation, quantification and execution
- Assist with delivery of the Capital expenditure budget in full and on time; ensure capital allocation decisions are maximised
- Manage delivery of the viticulture and wineries financial performance; embed a strong R&O and forecasting process
- Deliver the annual budget and strategic planning process for viticulture and premium wineries
- Manage the blend variance management, forecasting and approval process with winemaking to ensure product optimisation targets are achieved
- Manage the annual vintage costing process
- Ensure cost visibility is enhanced and communicated to Sales & Marketing on a timely basis
- Provide inputs for formulation of winery and Viticulture strategy in partnership with operation directors
- Ensure all key balance sheet reconciliations have been completed in line with predetermined time lines and are supported by valid, complete and accurate data.
- Manage year end process and requests for information and liaison with External Auditors.
- Manage the ANZ levy process including consultation with external advisers & auditors where applicable.
- Timely and accurate delivery of monthly management reporting, including future focused insights
- Management of R&O’s in order to achieve the full year plan
- Timely and accurate build of forecasts and annual plan financials (forecast accuracy)
- Timely and robust completion of projects and other specified tasks
- Delivery of value creation pipeline
What you’ll bring:
- University degree in accounting/finance or related discipline
- CA/CPA professional accreditation
- 5+ year’s experience
- Technical proficiency in accounting standards and statutory regulations
- High level analytical and problem solving skills
- Advanced MS Excel skills with exposure to modern ERP financial systems.
- Good planning and prioritising capability
- Strong written & verbal communication
