The Role
- Provide expert services to a high-quality accounting and financial planning client base
- Working directly with our Director
- Meeting with potential clients, understanding their financial goals and formulating initial risk tolerance assessment.
- Conducting research for financial products.
- Formulating and presenting executive plans to clients, addressing clients’ questions and concerns.
- Obtaining loans, or other financial products on behalf of clients, striving best deals possible for clients.
- Maintaining accurate and updated records of client files and transactions.
- Staying updated with new financial products, governing rules and regulations, sound practices and investment platforms, etc.
- Developing, maintaining and enhancing relationships with clients and other relevant stakeholders.
About you
- You’re qualified – with a Cert IV/Diploma in Finance and Mortgage Broking OR a Banker with loan experience open to completing further studies
- You’re proactive – you can keep busy without being told what to do and you’ll ask questions if you’re unsure of something
- You’re great with clients on the phone and via video – you’ve got excellent communication skills and you’re dedicated to setting realistic client expectations
- You’re competent – with 2+ years Banking/Mortgage Broking experience (with lending knowledge, writing home loans etc.)
- You’ve got the ‘know-how’ – with knowledge of compliance requirements under NCCP/Responsible lending/BID etc.
- You’re attentive – you’ll spot mistakes and help our client get things perfect
- You’re a problem solver – you have a can-do attitude and you’re easy to delegate to!
- You’re focused on growth – you want to build your own career while helping the business grow too
- You’re ahead of the times – great at understanding systems and are comfortable working with new and evolving technology.
