We are seeking an experienced Management Couple for this busy motel venue located in Regional Queensland.
This role would suit an experienced hospitality couple looking to manage a remote property.
Catering to a large volume of corporate clientele and tourists including coach groups visiting the region, the property has an excellent reputation for offering excellence in customer service and a high standard of accommodation.
This is a very hands on role managing all guest arrivals, departures, onsite reservations and overseeing housekeeping, maintenance and food & beverage.
Despite the distance from other major cities, this vibrant community offers most of the facilities and conveniences of modern living with local shops, medical facilities and local schools. Daily flights operate to the town and within hours you can be back in the city.
Spend your days off taking in the natural beauty and cultural heritage, explore the stunning beaches and unspoiled wilderness or experience the unrivalled fishing in the area.
With offsite accommodation provided as part of the package, this is an ideal opportunity to escape the high cost of city living.
Package:FULLTIME, SALARIED ROLE
- $150,000 combined salary
- Free Accommodation Provided in a spacious 2 bedroom unit
- Accommodation is pet friendly
Duties:
- Oversee all aspects of the motel in a hands on capacity
- Oversee a very small team of staff
- Reservations, guest arrivals and departures using Starfleet
- Coordinate housekeeping with room cleans / laundry & cover housekeeping shifts if required
- Ensure excellence in customer service
- Ensure the property is well maintained at all times
- General banking and administration duties
- Other duties as required
- Oversee food & beverage outlet
- Maintain all aspects of the property
Candidate Requirements:
- Must have or be able to obtain a current police clearance
- Must have excellent work-related references
- Extensive front office experience required
- Be seeking a long term commitment
- Able to obtain an RMLV-QLD Approved Managers
- Drivers License Required
