Create an impact as a Motor Claims Consultant.

YOUR ROLE

We’re looking for multiple Motor Claims Consultants to join the WFI and CGU claims team based across Australia on a full-time permanent basis. Your main objective will be to assist customers and stakeholders with navigating through the Motor Claims process. You’ll need to be able to proactively manage customer claims and drive productivity, cost and quality outcomes aligned to our Intermediated Insurance Australia (IIA) strategy. This will include responding to high volume of calls and correspondence from direct customers, brokers, and authorised representatives regarding general queries and complaints associated with their claims, resolving compliant issues, mitigating risk and overall providing exemplary customer service interactions to our brokers, partners and customers at a time where they need us the most. Having the drive to continuously learn and develop your insurance knowledge is key to the success of this role.

 

Your IAG journey commences on Monday 8 April 2024 with a comprehensive, 6-week induction in the IAG offices. Working from home suitability will be assessed and mutually agreed once fully competent in the role. This will be for a period of up to 3 months. Office locations can be Parramatta, Brisbane, West Perth, Melbourne CBD, Adelaide. You’ll work Monday to Friday with national public holidays off, shifts allocated between 8:30am – 5:00pm local time, so you need to provide full availability to work within these hours.

 

Please note: To work from home, you’ll need high speed internet connection and a private home office set up. 

 

ABOUT YOU 

  • Effectively communicate with customers and diffuse conflict situations
  • Strong customer focus including well developed customer service skills
  • Intermediate computer skills – ability to troubleshoot
  • Great attention to detail
  • Confidence to make decisions
  • Ability to prioritise and manage time effectively in a high-pressure environment.

 

You’ll be operating in a fast-paced inbound call centre environment with brokers and insurance providers. High level of communication, displaying empathy and the ability to be resilient is an absolute must.  In return you’ll be part of an engaging team that makes a difference.
