About the Role –Expressions of interest are open for Qualified Motor Mechanic to join our New Store, opening at the end of June located at Narre Warren equipped with state-of-the-artmodern equipment.
In this role, you will maintain and repair light vehicles through identifying and rectifying faults, as well as following specific vehicle manufacturer guidelines to deliver an industry leading level of customer service.
Occasionally you will be required to carry out fitting, balancing, repairs and general servicing of tyres and wheels as directed.
Your role will play a key factor into the success of the store.
Your day-to-day tasks would include.- Perform repairs, maintenance, and diagnostics on customer vehicles.
- Identifying mechanical faults as well as issues with vehicle stability and tyre wear
- Performing all tasks relating to tyres and wheel/suspension services that JAX Tyres & Auto provide.
- Provide professional advice and report potential hazards / dangerous risks found on customer vehicles.
- Safely Operating hoist and conducting road tests as required.
- MUST hold relevant licences and certifications required to operate as a Motor Mechanic in relevant state or territory. (including Australian Drivers Licence)
- 2 or more years’ experience as a qualified Motor Mechanic.
- Excellent communication skills, time management and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment, but also unsupervised.
- MUST be physically fit and able to carry out day-to-day tasks.
- Understand WHS
- Knowledgeable in the automotive and tyre industry.
