The Role
As the Group Parts Manager you are responsible for running an efficient and profitable Parts Department. You will carry out this responsibility and accomplish targets through proper utilisation of time, advertising, management and staff direction
Duties
- Provide for the operation of efficient and profitable departments by establishing goals and objectives for departments in line with the annual budget.
- Maintain and build on sales whilst simultaneously managing departmental expenses to maximise profitability
- Creating and maintaining a positive relationship with customers, ensuring the department staff are helpful and making customer satisfaction a priority to ensure referral and repeat of business.
- Organise and hold department/team meetings.
- Engage in the recruitment process of roles in the Parts departments.
- Establish and maintain a balanced inventory that ensures customer’s needs are met.
- Maintain employee morale and performance.
Requirements
- Valid NSW Class C driver’s license (Manual and Automatic).
- Must have permanent work rights in Australia with no restrictions.
- Parts Interpretation experience
- Thorough knowledge of computer-based inventory systems.
- Strong leadership and organisational skills.
- Well-developed inventory control and business management skills.
