Founded by two of the  best leaders in the industry, we are looking to bring in experienced and quality focused individuals, comfortable being empowered to do their job autonomously> You'll work as part of a national assessing team servicing our substantial portfolio of Insurers, Partners and Repairers.

The Role

The role of a Motor Vehicle Assessor is full time with multiple positions in metro locations (VIC based is preferred). Joining the Tapanda team, you will be encouraged to do things differently. We seek and select only talented individuals with specific expertise but more importantly someone who is passionate and committed to our purpose. 

As a Motor Vehicle Assessor, you will be responsible for assessing and evaluating Motor Vehicle damage, determining the extent of repairs needed and estimating repair costs for insurance claims. Your role will involve conducting thorough inspections of damaged vehicles, analysing repair estimates, negotiating with repair shops, and providing accurate reports to insurance companies.

Your Experience & Mindset

• Trade qualified with previous motor assessing experience 
• Strong knowledge and understanding of the motor body repair industry
• Expertise in passenger, motorbike, heavy or prestige vehicles
• Intimate knowledge of the Insurance and/or Fleet industry
• Computer & assessing platform literacy
• Strong industry working relationships
• Growth mentality and eagerness to learn with a growing business
• Passionate, resilient and adaptable in your thinking and approach
• Mature approach to autonomy - embrace the remote nature of the role and support an outcomes driven environment
