MR Driver/Laundry Assistant

Your new companyA large state government department who contributes to a safe, fair Tasmania is seeking an MR Driver for an ongoing casual position with one of their teams.
Your new role

• MR (Medium Rigid) driver in a government laundry area would typically be responsible for the collection and delivery of laundry items.
• This could involve transporting laundry to and from different locations within a government facility, such as a hospital.
• The driver might also be responsible for some tasks related to the laundry process itself.
• In addition to driving and laundry-related tasks, the driver may also be required to manually upload laundry, maintain accurate records of deliveries and collections, carry out daily vehicle checks, and provide excellent customer service.

What you'll need to succeedA positive attitude and excellent communications skills will be key in this role. You will also need: 

A current MR or HR Licence and experience driving MR/HR trucks

Be neat and presentable whilst representing the company

Current Police Check or willingness to take one
