MR/HR Driver with Forklift Licence

Multiquip Poultry specialises in providing services to Australia’s Poultry Industry, focusing on the safe and efficient transport of live birds from breeder farms to processing plants. 

Multiquip Poultry is seeking a skilled and reliable MR/HR Driver with a Forklift licence to join our dynamic team located in Loganholme. The ideal candidate will have a pivotal role in operating the forklift across various farm locations working either AM or PMshifts, ensuring the secure transportation of poultry, and actively contributing to the smooth operation of our poultry production processes. 

Key responsibilities include:

• Safely operate and drive crew trucks for poultry transportation, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. 
• Perform routine inspections and report maintenance issues on crew trucks, forklifts, and other equipment to ensure they meet safety and operational standards. 
• Transport forklift & catching crews to and from farms in specially designed crew trucks.
• Safely unload and reload chicken trailers with Forklift in preparation for transportation. 
• Operate the forklift on farms while catchers load chickens. 
• Maintain effective communication with growers and other essential site personnel. 
• Ensure compliance with all applicable animal welfare legislation, bio-security measures, and other responsibilities. 

Applicants will need the following:

• Possession of a valid MR or HR Licence.
• A valid Forklift Licence.
• Adherence to PPE requirements.
• Flexibility to work AM or PM, Sun - Thurs (8–10+ hour shifts).
• Motivated and ready for physically demanding tasks.
• Consistent commitment to high safety standards.
• Previous experience a crew truck driver and forklift operator in the poultry industry is highly desirable.
