AddressJSA Mixed Martial Arts Academy is looking for a new Muay Thai Teacher for our kids program! We currently run BJJ, and MMA, and are looking to add Muay Thai to our program due to increasing interest!
*Responsibilities:*
- Design and implement age-appropriate Muay Thai training programs for children.
- Conduct engaging and skill-focused group classes for various age groups.
- Provide individualized attention and guidance to students, fostering their growth and development in martial arts.
- Evaluate and track the progress of students, offering feedback, and gradings
- Ensure a safe and supportive learning environment, adhering to safety guidelines and protocols.
*Requirements:*
- Extensive experience and expertise in Muay Thai, particularly in teaching children.
- Certification in Muay Thai is highly recognised
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively engage and motivate young athletes.
- Prior experience in coaching or instructing children in a sports setting is mandatory.
- Patience, enthusiasm, and a passion for teaching kids

About JSA Swim & Sports Academy:
JSA Sports Academy and Swim School has an excellent reputation in delivering results in developing passion in sports, and young budding athletes. Our junior sports program has an extensive history in producing sports athletes from junior to national level.
Martial arts has been an integral part of our sports program since our opening. We have over 20 martial arts sessions for children in 1 week, and continue to grow our classes, both in number and in size.

The primary responsibility is to teach sports to young children, therefore applicants must have:
1. A previous history of coaching Muay Thai, to children ages 3-years-old and up (if applicable) and adults of all age groups (if applicable)
2. Valid WWCC (if applicable), and
3. Valid First Aid
4. Teacher Skills & Attributes:
- Have a passion for teaching MMA
- Have strong customer service skills
- Previous experience in a similar position
- Excellent communication skills, takes initiative to seek out new ways for the sport to grow and develop
5. Availability on weekends - All JSA sports instructors must be able to work on Saturday mornings.
JSA Swim & Fitness Centre is privately owned and operated by dedicated directors and managers. All staff (new or current) are well supported in learning and skills training. We consistently work towards offering a work schedule that suit the needs of our employees.
