The team at Rugendyke and Bashforth Contracting have successfully developed relationships with both private, and public sector clients, and have a proven history of providing outstanding service in the delivery of a wide array of projects safely, innovatively and on-time.
Due to the retirement of a valued long term team member, we are currently seeking a professional Plant Operator to join our small, hard working team for an immediate start.
Ideally, if you would like to join us you would possess the following:
- A track record of contributing to small teams achieving successful outcomes.
- A principled, and personal, commitment to safe work.
- Experience in the operation and daily maintenance of various earthmoving plant including excavators, dozers, articulated dump trucks, posi traks and graders. RII competencies would be an advantage but not necessary.
- Experience with GPS machine guidance would be advantage
- A verifiable ability to deliver great service and get along with people.
- A HR license would be pretty handy but is not essential.
An hourly rate will be negotiated with the successful candidate. This is a casual position at first but if you prove you have the qualities, we are looking for you will be made permanent. A company supplied work vehicle will be provided to the successful candidate. Some travel is available, but not mandatory.
