Byron Shire Council is currently seeking enthusiastic Multi Skilled Outdoor Worker's (2 positions) to work within our Open Spaces Team. The position plays a key role in the beautification and maintenance of Byron Shire Council maintained assets for Open Spaces.
The successful candidate will meet the criteria set out in the Position Description below and importantly will undertake a broad range of activities and general labouring duties including but not limited to mowing, brush cutting, landscaping, tree lopping and pruning, planting, gardening, weeding, construction works, cleaning, painting, minor repairs to signs and street furniture, carpentry, paving, concreting, graffiti removal, litter pick-up for Byron Shire Council.

- Salary and Conditions will be in accordance with the NSW Local Government (State) Award with an appointment at a salary in the range of $1,008.70 to $1,168.70 per 38-hour week (dependent upon skills and experience)

This position is based at Council's Byron Bay Depot; however, Council can require you to work from other work sites as required for operational reasons.
