Byron Shire Council is currently seeking enthusiastic Multi Skilled Asset Maintenance Worker's (2 positions) to work within our Open Spaces Team.  

The successful candidate will meet the criteria set out in the Position Description below and importantly will provide a high level of service in the delivery of asset inspection and maintenance programs, including but not limited to cleaning, maintenance, installation and additional servicing of public assets, including public place bins and Open Spaces infrastructure.

  • A permanent, full-time position (38 hours per week / 9-day fortnight)
  • Salary and Conditions will be in accordance with the NSW Local Government (State) Award with an appointment at a salary in the range of $1,008.70 to $1,168.70 per 38-hour week (dependent upon skills and experience)

Location:

This position is based at Council's Byron Bay Depot; however, Council can require you to work from other work sites as required for operational reasons.
