The wider Banking & Finance practice group are seeking talented law practitioners for various subgroups of the team including:
- Project Finance
- Leveraged Finance
- Banking, Restructuring and Turnaround
The Roles and Requirements
The Project Finance team advise on projects spanning energy, natural resources, and infrastructure. This includes leading rail and road projects, globally significant power ventures (such as the largest nuclear and most innovative renewables projects), LNG financings across the entire value chain, and the largest reserve-based lending, structured commodity, and upstream oil and gas project financings.
- The Project Finance practice are currently seeking a Solicitor or Senior Associate with 2-9 years post admission experience. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience with general banking and finance or project finance from a leading practice
The Leveraged Finance team advise on a wide variety of acquisition financings through the lifecycle of transactions. These include public and private acquisitions, leveraged buy-outs and buy-ins, recapitalisations, restructurings and exits. They work with high profile clients as well as Australian and international banks and other financial institutions.
- The successful candidate for this role will be a Solicitor (minimum 2 years experience) up to a mid-level Senior Associate. Ideally, you will have leveraged finance experience if you are at SA level however, they are open to junior candidates with little experience in leveraged finance.
The Banking, Restructuring, Turnaround's and Insolvency team provides comprehensive advice to companies, lenders and buyers. The team specialises in private capital, credit funds, private equity sponsors, and general corporate finance, serving a diverse clientele spanning various sectors such as energy, oil and gas, mining, marine and shipping, infrastructure, and real estate on a global scale.
- They are looking for a Solicitor to join the friendly team where the work is large scale, varied and complex. The ideal candidate will have between 2 and 4 years post admission experience from a similar practice at a well-regarded firm.
