• $46.27 / 67.97 per hour + Super (Agency Contractor)
• ASAP start – initial contract till end of December 2024 with potential extension thereafter  
• Brisbane CBD (Hybrid model, initially in the office full-time) 

Six Degrees is partnering with a major government department in shaping a new Talent Acquisition team as part of an exciting new initiative. The TA team will be responsible for the provision of services for a volume of vacancies, including candidate screening, shortlisting, provision of recommendations to a variety of clients across the state.

As part of a new initiative to drive a statewide team, you will be working with Queensland’s on the front line across the State.

SUMMARY:

1 x AO3 - Provide quality, proactive and timely customer support for teacher talent acquisition activities, including hiring manager and candidate communication and correspondence.

3 x AO5 - Undertake contemporary teacher talent acquisition services for a volume of vacancies, including candidate screening, shortlisting, provision of recommendations to Principals and offers of employment.
 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Undertake contemporary teacher talent acquisition services for a volume of vacancies, including candidate screening, shortlisting, provision of recommendations to Principals and offers of employment.
• Work collaboratively with Principals and HR Business Partners to design and implement effective talent acquisition solutions.
• Manage and support a talent pool of quality candidates to fill teaching vacancies including persuading them to consider more challenging opportunities.
• Provide advice, support and consultancy services to clients and stakeholders on complex talent acquisition matters.
• Guide and support Talent Acquisition Officers in relation to teacher talent acquisition issues.
• Ensure teacher talent acquisition practices align with relevant legislation, policy and procedures.
• Collaborate across the Teacher Recruitment Team to ensure prioritisation and agility in filling teacher vacancies.
• Analyse talent acquisition data and provide reports on a range of recruitment issues to influence clients and stakeholders.
• Foster an equitable, ethical and safe work environment.

• Minimum of 2 years recruitment experience
• High level communication skills
• High level influencing and persuasion skills
• High level conflict management skills
• High level organisation and prioritisation skills
• Ability to work effectively with little supervision and as part of a team.
• Ability to rapidly acquire knowledge in talent acquisition (Springboard) and ticketing (ServiceNow) systems.
