Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist

About you

We have a full-time or part-time physiotherapist role with flexible hours available ideally with a start in March but for the ideal candidate anytime between now and April 2024. 
You can choose to work 16 hours or up to 37 hours week and would have a built up case to step into.

We are looking for a physiotherapist who:

• Lives on the Central Coast or is willing to relocate here.
• Is passionate about private practice and is strongly committed to excellence in private practice.
• Values working with a high performing team of physios and wants to harness the learning opportunities that comes with this.
• Is a true team player who enjoys being in a busy, stimulating yet fun clinic environment.
• Has strong manual therapy skills along with great exercise prescription abilities.
• Ideally you have a special area of interest within private practice - we currently have physios with special expertise in vestibular rehabilitation, concussion management, sports physiotherapy, shoulders, spinal issues and chronic conditions.
• The position suits a Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist and/ or a vestibular physiotherapist with great time management skills and outstanding communication.

The role

• The hours required for this role are completely negotiable - anywhere from 16 hours to 37 hours a week, for the right applicant.
• You will treat a mix of private musculoskeletal patients (85-90% private, 10-15% WC or DVA) and we will assist you in building a niche caseload to suit a special area of interest.
• Appointment lengths are generous and customised to what is being assessed and treated with each patient.
• We will consider applicants with any level of experience, but this role would fit ideally someone with a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in musculoskeletal private practice physio.
• Your level of experience will determine your salary package, and our existing therapists’ salary packages range from a base award salary to upwards of $50 an hour.
• Annual salary will range from $80,,000 to $120,000 pro rata including your base salary plus all bonuses and entitlements (based on experience and qualifications).
• Your salary package includes a bonus/commission structure which allows you to take home an extra $6,000-$15,000 per year in performance based bonuses.
• You will have access to a PD budget, internal formal and informal clinic mentoring and in-services.
• We have a highly skilled admin team to assist you at all levels of your role, especially with client retention.

About the clinic

North Kincumber Physiotherapy and Coast Vestibular and Concussion Clinic operate within the same premises and are located in Kincumber, Central Coast with a 3 min walk to the shops, café, restaurants, a 5 min walk to access the climb up Kincumba Mountain and a 7 min drive to the nearest surfing beach, Avoca Beach.
We are a strong business with an 19 year history and have grown through COVID, weathered the challenges of 2022 and have come out the other side.

Our clinicians most love the customised caseload and ability to treat their favourite types of clients, the warm and friendly and beautiful environment with state of the art exercise prescription software programs as well as software programs which allow accurate assessment and re-assessment of our clinical findings. 

We utilise a great practice management software to make your job easier and rewarding but also to aid you in taking your performance to the next level and we have invested heavily in our systems and technology this last 5 years with the goal of making our team members' work lives easier and better.

Job requirements

• Bachelor of Physiotherapy or the equivalent
• AHPRA registration
• Registration with Sira (Workers Compensation in NSW) and PRODA
• Professional public liability & malpractice insurance cover of $20,000,000 AUD
• Be an Australian Citizen and have a great understanding and grasp of the English language.
• a First Aid certificate
• a driver's license
• a WWCC would be ideal
• excellent communication
