Windsor Private Hospital, is a boutique, 2 theatre day and short stay hospital recognised for our staff's commitment to excellence and the experience that we create for patients and doctors alike. To support our growth, we are seeking an enthusiastic, hard working and experienced Receptionist/Admissions Officer to join our supportive and friendly team.
Your role provides essential components to creating a world class local hospital:
- Creating a positive experience for patients, surgeons, their practices and all other hospital consumers,
- Liaising with specialists’ rooms to assist with patient bookings,
- Preparation of patient information prior to admission including health fund eligibility checks and quotes for self funded patients,
- Preparation of theatre bookings (SimDay medical software knowledge preferred but not essential),
- Welcoming and conducting clerical admissions of patients on their day of surgery,
- General reception duties
- Other administrative duties as required,
About you:
You have a genuine passion for customer service and creating an outstanding experience for patients. you will have and demonstrate:
- Excellent customer service skills,
- Experience in healthcare/hospital administration preferred
- Ability to multitask,
- Enthusiasm, a willingness to learn, attention to detail and a positive approach,
- Reliability and flexibility.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and must show initiative whilst being able to work independently within a supportive team.
- General computer literacy and proficient data entry skills
- Availability for early - (pre 7am) starts
