About the Music Teacher Position
The Music Teacher position at the school offers an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to join their team from the start of Term 2. This initial one-year contract has the potential to become a permanent role, catering to a full-time schedule with flexibility for part-time arrangements, depending on the hours. If the successful teacher is happy to teach Primary year groups, they would love to include this in the timetable. Skills & Requirements:
- Proven ability in teaching a wide range of musical styles and instruments, adapting to diverse student abilities and interests
- Strong classroom management skills, with the ability to create an inclusive and positive learning environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, staff, and the school community
- Capacity for developing and implementing innovative music curriculum and teaching methods
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with educational best practices in music education
- NESA registration or eligibility to obtain
