About the role
We are seeking a world-class educator to inspire the next generation of Music students by joining our team of teachers on a permanent full-time basis located at Dubbo Campus, with travel to surrounding central west campuses.
In this role you will deliver educational programs and facilitate learning, enabling students to achieve their desired outcomes. Hit the right note and share your passion and understanding of the music and sound production industry. Teach students the elements of studio recording, live sound as well as performing live mixing and making records to build a strong foundation to continue their music journey.

Essential requirements:
- Have appropriate subject knowledge, skills and vocational qualifications with a minimum level of Certificate III in Sound Production and or Performance or equivalent.
- Hold the TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent OR a willingness to undertake our full time 14 week ‘Paid to Learn’ course.
- Have a minimum of three (3) years post qualification experience relevant to your industry.
- Highly desirable: music and sound production experience.
This is a targeted recruitment for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders in accordance with Rule 26 of the Government Sector Employment (General) Rules 2014 - Employment of eligible persons. As such, preference will be given to candidates who identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander. If no suitable candidate is found, other applications may also be considered. Aboriginal candidates selected for an interview will be required to provide “Confirmation of Aboriginality” documentation with their application.
Paid to Learn: for candidates who do not hold the TAE40122 or equivalent, you have the option to be Paid to Learn as you transition from industry to teaching with guaranteed work following successful completion of the 14 weeks Training and Assessment course. Those who already hold the TAE qualification or equivalent are still eligible to apply.
