Music Therapist – Grade 2

In your clinical role you will provide an excellent music therapy service for patients in aged care as part of The Royal Melbourne Hospitals Geriatric Evaluation Management program
You will:
- Provide music therapy sessions to enhance patients’ quality of life, to aid in their recovery and rehabilitation and to encourage positive interactions with them and their carers
- Co-facilitate sessions with other healthcare professionals and work in an interdisciplinary model of care
- Have opportunities for special projects and innovative models of care
About you:
- You have excellent music therapy skills and are confident in singing and guitar playing
- You have experience working with older adults in multiple settings with a collaborative working style
You are looking to expand your music therapy skills and work with a highly skilled team of Music Therapists. - You have effective communication skills and a passion for continued professional development.
You are a Registered Music Therapist with the Australian Music Therapy Association
