We offer our clients a combination of leading specialised techniques including Active Release Techniques (ART), Dry needling, Myofascial Release, cupping and Kinesio taping as well as Trigger Point therapy, deep tissue, sports and remedial treatments.

Please note: we don't offer relaxation style massages at all or any "alternative" style massages such as shiatsu, Hawaiian massage, Chinese massage, Thai massage or Swedish massage. This is a clinic with a focus on sports and other injuries. 

Job tasks and responsibilities

You will be required to have good people skills as this job is all about working very closely with clients. Outgoing people tend to do best in this industry. 

Tasks include:

• Client interactions such as welcoming clients, getting them to fill in forms and basic reception work such as taking payments.
• Taking a thorough case history.
• Performing assessments on clients.
• Delivering quality soft tissue work.
• Creating a treatment plan and rebooking clients.
• Clinic duties such as putting towels away, some filing and keeping clinic tidy.
• Continued education - keeping up to date with new techniques and continual learning.
• Business development - team presentations to promote our services and great results.

Skills and experience

Must have:

• Diploma of Remedial Massage or Advanced Dip/Bachelor of Myotherapy
• All health funds
• Current professional indemnity insurance and public liability
• First Aid
• At least 1 year of clinical experience. New graduates with no experience may be considered if they are the right fit for the clinic. 
• Fluent English
• Permanent Residency or Australian Citizen

Ideally have or are committed to getting:

• Being certified or a desire to become certified in Dry Needling
• Being certified or a desire to become certified in Active Release Techniques (A.R.T)
• Experience using Cliniko software for client bookings and note taking.
• Interest in exercise. We work closely with personal trainers, so having experience in the gym will be beneficial.
• Being a personal trainer, pilates teacher or Yoga teacher is also a plus.
