As a National Account Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in defining and amplifying our products working closely with our customers.
What You’ll Do:
This is a customer facing role which is responsible for achieving profitable sales and category growth with Independent Retail customers through building strong relationships and influences at all levels.
- responsible for implementing point of purchase solutions that influence retailer and shopper behaviour.
- Strategic business planning at multiple levels within the Metcash and Independent Grocery network.
- Develop category solutions that drive long term, sustainable business growth for Nova and our customers.
- Negotiate promotional program including deals, frequency, display, catalogue support and stock allocations.
- accountable for customer profitability and growth, along with optimisation of trade spend budgets.
- Manage the development of the customer sales strategy and deliver flawless execution of plans which grow the account to meet business objectives.
Requirements:
- Prior National account management experience, preferably within Independent Grocery, Coles or Woolworths.
- Drive for results and a high desire to achieve success in a team environment.
- Proven ability to implement category strategies both with customers and at field level.
- Strong financial acumen and attention to detail.
- Outstanding communication skills.
