A leading role is available for a National Comcare & Welfare Manager based in Melbourne's North, Victoria. This role is pivotal in providing leadership, support, and guidance within the Comcare, Welfare & CSR function.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership and Support: Provide leadership and direction to the Comcare team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Support team members in achieving individual and collective goals through mentorship, coaching, and guidance.
Operational Management: Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficient workflow and resource allocation. Monitor team performance metrics and implement strategies to optimise productivity and service delivery. Develop and implement operational policies and best practices.
Client Engagement and Service Delivery: Collaborate with operational teams to address concerns and ensure high levels of satisfaction with Comcare, claims, and rehabilitation services. Develop and implement engagement strategies to enhance service delivery and client outcomes.
Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management: Maintain a thorough understanding of relevant legislation and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Monitor changes in legislation and address their impact on the business unit. Collaborate with the General Manager to mitigate risks and maintain high standards of service delivery.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners, and regulatory bodies. Represent the Comcare team in meetings, forums, and events as required.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Solid understanding of the Safety Rehabilitation & Compensation Act 1988.
- Experience in the Commonwealth Compensation Scheme, Comcare.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Significant experience in multi-tasking and managing deadlines.
- Strong presentation skills and experience in a multi-site operational business environment.
- Strong computer literacy and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Allied health background.
