We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Community Engagement Manager to join our team in Melbourne. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a passion for community outreach to foster meaningful connections with our donors of community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to engage with various community stakeholders, including individuals, groups, businesses, and local organisations.
- Organise and facilitate community events, workshops, and meetings to promote awareness of our programs and initiatives.
- Build and maintain relationships with key influencers, community leaders, and partners to amplify our message and reach.
- Conduct outreach efforts to recruit volunteers, donors, and supporters for our programs and events.
- Represent Sadaqa Welfare Fund at community events, conferences, and meetings to promote our organisation and build strategic partnerships.
- Provide support and guidance to volunteers and community members participating in our programs and events.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, non-profit management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Previous experience in Community Engagement, outreach, or volunteer coordination preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organisational and project management skills.
Essential Requirements
- Willingness to work outside of normal office hours to coordinate events
- Must be able to travel interstate for Events
- Exceptional communication
- Must have driving license and own vehicle
