We are actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced National Credit Manager to join our organization. Join us as we continue to drive excellence in credit management and financial sustainability. Key Accountabilities: Manage a team of 15 staff including Business Unit Credit Managers and their Teams. Take a leading role in the Order to Cash process ensuring consistent and best practise processes are applied across all business units and JVs. This includes developing and monitoring KPI's. Customers are important to CSR so strive to ensure an optimal balance is maintained between control and being easy to do business with. Maintain close contact with each business unit, understand their strategy and how Credit can support its achievement.Actively strive to minimise working capital. Maintain control over the departmental costs. Maintain strict compliance with the CSR internal control framework and be an advocate for why it's important.Maintain an overview of CSRs total exposure to customers and business segments and advise the Manager of Transactional Accounting Services, CSR's CFO and Senior Finance Team. Actively get involved in large customer and buying group relationships. Actively participate in and embrace system implementations and changes as well as the purchase of new businesses. Monitor and seek to resolve items held up in control accounts and/or workflows. About You: At least 8-10 years Credit experience at a senior level, preferably AICM qualified.Expert understanding of credit riskDetailed and practical SAP experience both in implementing change and operational best practice. A basic understanding of accounting principles with a more detailed knowledge around the order to cash process such that the potential outcome of actions are fully understood. A good understanding and appreciation of an internal system of controls such as segregation of duties. The ability to use the appropriate leadership style to develop a high performing team.
