What's the opportunity?
The Change and Communications Project Lead will play a pivotal role in the successful implementation of the new National Lung Cancer Screening Register.
You will be critical in driving successful change initiatives within the health sector. You will develop and implement effective external Change and communication strategies, working closely with cross-functional teams, leadership, and various external stakeholders to ensure a seamless implementation.

Key accountabilities include:
- Lead the development of change management and engagement plans specific to the implementation of the National Lung Cancer Screening Register.
- Manage a team to execute the change management and engagement plans.
- Develop comprehensive engagement plans covering stakeholders across multiple sectors, aligning with organisational goals and project objectives.
- Assess the impact of the project on external end users and implement strategies to ensure a smooth transition.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to design a change program to maximise adoption and ensure a smooth transition for end users.
- Craft clear and compelling messages, ensuring consistency in communication across various stakeholder groups.
- Collaborate with project teams to identify potential risks and challenges and develop mitigation strategies.
- Facilitate workshops with external stakeholders.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, the digital health sector, and government, to facilitate a smooth implementation of the National Lung Cancer Screening Register.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to address concerns and take an agile approach to delivery of the stakeholder management plan.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of external engagements and Communications during implementation of the National Lung Cancer Screening Register.
- 5 years+ experience leading large scale change initiatives within digital health, technology or the broader health sector.
- Previous experience in managing relationships with stakeholders within the government or healthcare sector.
- Demonstrated experience leading teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
- Outstanding organisational and time management skills.
- Commitment to maintaining quality and safety standards in healthcare.
- Experience in software implementation projects and understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle.
