Chisholm is seeking an experienced Events and Engagement Team Lead to join our Marketing & Communications team.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Events and Engagement Team Lead is a senior and active participant of the Marketing and Communications Business Area, responsible for the end-to-end planning, delivery, and evaluation of successful Chisholm marketing and recruitment events.
The role is responsible for leading, developing, and implementing strategies to drive prospective student engagement, enhance prospective student experiences, and support new student enrolments. The role will ensure ongoing organisational capability in a competitive market, proactively considering and communicating how Chisholm can expand and leverage prospective student engagement opportunities.
Using marketing and communications strategies, this role is expected to develop comprehensive strategic and functional event plans, informed by forecasting trends and consumer insight to drive brand awareness, consideration, preference, and growth with prospective students within Chisholm’s core catchment. The incumbent will provide expert advice and guidance to the wider Marketing and Communications team, teaching and learning Business Areas, and the Executive Team.
The Events and Engagement Team Lead is also responsible for the successful planning and delivery of corporate events including but not limited to biannual Chisholm Graduation Ceremonies and annual Chisholm Education Awards and will lead a small team towards the achievement of key strategic objectives that embed a customer-first mindset across Chisholm.
ABOUT YOU
You are a highly motivated individual with demonstrable, extensive experience in end-to-end planning, delivery, and evaluation of successful major events together with proven and deep understanding of customer-first methodology and how to translate into the business environment, with a focus on high-quality customer care.
You will have the ability to write high-quality event briefs and plans, with proven results and you will be highly skilled in developing organisational-aligned strategies and delivering their subsequent operationalisation and have strong skills in data, analytics and optimisation to seek, set and achieve business KPIS, with the view to continual refinement and improvement.
You will also have superior stakeholder relationship management skills including the ability to drive cross-collaboration and garner buy-in across all levels of the organisation and/or with external agencies and partners.

Qualifications required for the role:
Relevant post-graduate level qualification in a marketing, communications or events-related field with demonstrable experience managing end-to-end major events, with extensive leadership and management experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or training and management and leadership experience.
